Lilies in my Garden
You can't beat Morrisons for great value plants, shrubs and trees. Our garden isn't huge but with a complete re-landscape there are lots of plants needed to get it set up and most of what we've bought have come from Morrisons special and seasonal offers. Even full price they're a fraction of other places prices. There are five different lillies here and the pack of bulbs was one of a 3 for £5 offer - £1.66 for 5 magnificent plants.
They smell gorgeous!

Busy in the Garden
Busy in the garden today. Lots of help from Scooby and a larger amount of hindrance from the Westie lads - so far, Skrapy found a frog a couple of hours ago and he's not going to forget it and Sparky found something extremely foul smelling that he needed to rub his head in.
Tomatoes are planted - note the professional tomato frame constructed by Paul and Jon out of left over wood. Love that!
After the rain showers this week the new flower beds have had a growth spurt and ...clematis are racing up the trellis.
Rhododendron is approaching full glory.

Front garden clear out
There's a bird's nest with eggs in half way up the climber on the front wall so removal has been abandoned. The tall tree has been felled and the overgrown bushes around the gate have been dug up. The area round the front door is much lighter now. The roots of the tree are jammed in the stone trough. It's going to be an axe job.

Garden Clearance
Removing 4 huge uninteresting shrubs and severely pruning a large Maple tree has opened up the garden.
There's lots of work to do but clearing some space has tidied it up for now.
