Wonderclips vs Tesco Office Supplies

When I saw Wonderclips being demonstrated I thought there's something to stop me bleeding on my quilts.  Pins are difficult to see these days and I generally "FEEL" them first,  OUCH!

Then I saw the price of Wonderclips.  OUCH!

In Tesco's stationary department I found these fold back clips.  Bright and easier to see and 50 for £1.  One pack has almost gone round this smallish quilt so I'll get another packet or so for larger quilts.

You've got to shop around. One example...

I need various magnifiers since losing my eyesight. One on a stand which I can bend to be in front of the needle area of my sewing machine. From companies which specialise in vision aids for the blind the prices are MEGA. from craft and hobby shops they are very expensive in most cases. From Amazon a perfectly adequate one with rave reviews is £24.99.

I'm not tight LOL but I don't like being ripped off. I can spend what I save on fabric, as if I need any more :-)
