Pretty in Pink

Started quilting the pink patchwork last night. There was quite a bit of movement between the layers despite tacking it all together and using the walking foot. I think the wadding is a bit thick and my tacking wasn't tight enough. Have ordered some curved pins - they should hold it all together more firmly. I'm not going to use cheap wadding any more - maybe try some Vilene Volume Fleece. No sign of the 'moo cow' squares yet, but want to practice more before I use special fabric.
