Violet Quilt update

The quilt is all but finished. Just need to bind the edges and make a label. Have chosen this as my July Challenge on UK Sewing. It will be finished and on my daughter's bed by the end of July. I have two more sets of patchwork squares. Holstein Cows (I think we would call them Friesans) and Intense Poppies. The cows will make a fun quilt for one or both of my sons - haven't done the measurements yet so not sure if I will make one big or two mediums. The intense poppies will make a dramatic accent piece (I hope). Very bright red and black - nowhere in my home for that colour scheme at the moment, but maybe it will go well when we 'neutralise' the decor of the dining room and lounge.
